Inspired by Gary Vaynerchuk, today has been declared Good People Day.

I want to try to get the WHOLE INTERNET community behind this mission I have to make sure that tomorrow people write and talk and blog and twitter and just flat out SING about people that are AWESOME and GOOD. It is time that we take control of the fact that WE are the media and pump out a day tomorrow that will make NOISE across this WORLD!

We are so overwhelmed at times by news about bad people we forget that they are the minority. The vast majority of people are kind, decent, well-meaning folk. They’re the people that will stop on the road to help when you have a flat tire, who help you with a computer problem, who listen when you’ve had a tough day, who care about you.

There are too many good people in my life for me to single out any specifically. So let me offer to all of you my thanks and gratitude for being my friend, and for being good people. You inspire me, you motivate me, you encourage me to be better today than I was yesterday, to enjoy every day to the fullest, to not get bogged down by adversity.

You are all good people. Thank you for being you.
